Biography:

Dr. Anita Fan is a Clinical Assistant Professor within the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. She has an in-patient practice at the rehabilitation units at Holy Family Hospital. Her in-patient areas of interest are mainly in neuro-rehabilitation. Her out-patient clinics are held at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital, St. Paul’s Hospital and Holy Family Hospital. She evaluates and treats out-patients in a clinic setting whose needs fall within the full spectrum of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is certified in Electromyography (EMG) from the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists (CSCN) and she practises Electrodiagnostic Medicine at Holy Family Hospital. Dr Fan is on consulting staff at St. Paul’s Hospital, Mount Saint Joseph Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital. She also visits the long term care facilities within Providence Health Care providing physiatric consultative services.
